Transportation and storage precautions for space heaters, reasons for resistance heating

Space Heater Shipping and Storage Considerations

(1) The bottom pad is equipped with lifting holes, and crane lifting equipment should be used correctly. Do not hang the crane's rope on the lifting ring of the automatic temperature control cabinet; do not collide with the automatic temperature control cabinet to avoid damaging the control cabinet.

(2) The equipment should be stored in a dry and ventilated space. When stored in a humid environment for a long time, moisture-proof measures should be taken for the equipment. Storage temperature should be -25°C-40°C.

Reasons for Resistive Heating in Space Heaters

Electric air heaters use the Joule effect of current to change electrical energy into thermal energy to heat objects. Usually divided into direct resistance heating and direct resistance heating. The power supply voltage of the former is directly applied to the object to be heated. When there is a current flow, the object to be heated itself will generate heat. Objects that can be directly resistively heated must be conductors, but must have a high resistivity. Since the heat is generated by the heated object itself and is attributed to internal heating, the thermal efficiency is very high. Direct resistance heating requires heating elements made of special alloy materials or non-metallic materials. The heating elements generate heat energy and transfer it to the heated object through radiation, convection and conduction.
