Therefore, we can produce axial and radial gears with a total backlash of 0.0003 in. (0.0076 am) total or 0.00015 in. (0.0038 mm) on both sides and perimeter of the gear. This precision not only ensures the volumetric efficiency of the pump; it also increases pump life and uniformity on fiber production equipment.
