Screw pumps are self-priming rotary positive displacement pumps for handling and metering low to high viscosity, neutral or corrosive, pure or abrasive, gaseous liquids or liquids that easily foam, even if they contain fibers and solids. The pumping elements of the self-priming single screw pump are a rotating rotor and a fixed stator. CIRCOR's Allweiler® brand produces stators and rotors at its own factory in Germany.
